Vermiculite is a very versatile mineral because of its thermal stability and inertness. It is clean to handle, odourless and mould resistant and also sterile due to the high temperature to which it is subjected in production.
The coarsest grade comprises particles ranging between 8mm and 2.8mm, while the finest grade consists of particles between 0.710mm and 0.250mm in size.
Ore is blended from various parts of the mine in order to maintain a consistent and reliable product.
